amazing....but I just don’t know. This show has some rough parts - Jerry flubbing words (more than usual), Vince’s cheesy organ clashing with Bruce. The Scarlet Fire and Terrapin just sound and feel...off. Sound quality bumps this up to 3.

and Germany were the best shows of this tour IMO other tan Holloween. Only Shakedown, LTGTR, Deal, Mobile of the tour. And not a surprise show Anthony. Was planned long before. Got my tickets about a month before in the States. And to Evan S. Hunt 10/13 was better???? But if you dig it, well ok.

Surprise show
I think I'm right on this - but this was a surprise show. We had left Essen, and got here before the train since we were in a car. And found out that this

show had been added. So we were able to snag 3rd row tickets. Had to leave the front though due to overcrowding but it didn't matter because the back was the place to be (lots of space to do your thing). Super small venue - maybe as small as Essen. The show was decent enough - but really, it was more of a party and no one was being too critical.

Comfiest venue ever A/K/A: Dead Meets UN

they ever played. Carpeted throughout, each seat at a big curved conference table with fold down padded seat, place for your briefcase and its own lamp. All this cloth made the sound just go out stop - no resonance. I always felt like I was getting away with something at a show, but this topped it all. I think the band had the same idea. During the Scarlet I remember walking down the carpeted isle right up to the stage, which was raised only about a foot off the floor. Nobody was even standing in the aisle. I just looked right at the boys, & I walked back to the back (75'?) where I had been standing with some heads I met on the train. We all, including the band, were just laughing hysterically at the absurd craziness of it all. At the peak of GD nightmare popularity how could this be possible? An absolutely killer show in one of the weirdest Deter 'Sprockets' settings ever. The sound on these boards smokes. The acoustics inside were fantastic & engineered to undoubtedly the highest standards for 1990. Sweet FMs circulate as well. If it were not for the tapes I would wonder if it was ever there at all.

you how special it was to have the Dead going out over the radio across Berlin...of all places! The ICC was a tiny place, with perfect acoustics, and stuffed seats. Berlin had just reunited, and there was a special vibe in the air for sure. The highlight of the show for me was listing to the mix you are listening to AS IT WAS BEING RECORDED! I sat behind Healy on this night and he handed me the headphones for about a minute during Rooster. (The soundboard backs right up to the seating at the ICC) I had spoken to him before, but never expected that! Get this show and 10/20...Dark star>drums/space>Dark Star...out over a Free Berlin...need I say more?
